About Hoko Travel

Hoko Travel is an independent hotel comparison and travel guide website focused on Asia-Pacific. We help you find a good place to stay in the region's most popular cities, from Bangkok and Tokyo to Bali, Singapore and Sydney.

What we do

We combine three things: practical guides to each destination, curated lists of hotels, and price information from a trusted booking partner. Our guides explain which area suits which type of traveller, when to go, how to get around and roughly what to budget, so you can decide before you start comparing rooms.

How we choose and rank hotels

Our rankings take into account guest scores, location, the range of facilities and overall value for money. Ratings and review counts come from our booking partner and can change over time. A higher position is never sold to a hotel.

How we make money

We do not charge you anything. When you click a link and make a booking with our partner, we may earn a commission, at no extra cost to you. Read our Affiliate Disclosure for the details.

What we are not

We are not a hotel, and we do not take bookings or payments. Reservations are made and managed on our partner's website, and any questions about a booking should go to them.
